The customer supplies cylinders to the flexible packaging, tobacco, labelling, decorative, security and coatings markets. Through their innovation and development programmes, they can produce cylinders with resolutions up to 500 lines/cm.
They offer a wide range of products and are the only UK based cylinder manufacturer with in-house “direct laser to metal” capabilities.
UAP has been working closely with their site in Deeside to reduce the running costs associated with the compressed air equipment on site.
The initial compressed air energy assessment highlighted the potential energy savings available with installing an 11kw, HPC SK22SFC variable speed air compressor to replace the old 11kw EcoAir fixed speed air compressor on site.

We felt it was time to invest in a new air compressor. Our process demands continuous, good, clean, quality Air and after some research, we decided that the HPC SK22SFC was the best compressor suited for our process and we would have no hesitation in using UAP and installing another HPC in the future should it be required.
