25 Year Anniversary – Say Hello to Yellow!

United Air Power were formed on 4th January 1999, making this year our 25th anniversary! As many of you know we have been HPC KAESER distributors since 2007.

To mark our 25th Anniversary we wanted to have a bit of fun trying to find the oldest HPC KAESER Compressor in daily operation the United Kingdom. We just need a little bit of help from you to find it.

 

About Kaeser

Manufactured in Coburg Germany since 1973, KAESER is recognised worldwide for longevity and reliability. And whilst some design choices, such as the faux wooden control panel were questionable, they have now become iconic. Built like ‘Battle Tanks’ these old HPC KAESER compressors set the standard for reliability and have since become one of the most respected marks in the industry. Since 1978 over 40,000 HPC KAESER compressors have been put to good use in the UK. Their longevity has made them become endearing, with many owners putting off a new replacement as their old Yellow Box just keeps going and many of HPC KAESER compressors installed back the 70’s and 80’s, are still out there, running, day in, day out!

Can you help find the oldest, HPC KAESER compressor, which could be hiding away in the corner of your workshop, factory, or plant room?

What we need

Submit your entry by sending us an email to yellow@unitedairpower.co.uk with the following:

  • Photo of Kaeser Compressor control panel
  • Photo of Kaeser Compressor data plate
    • The data plate can be found on the side of compressor or on the inside of electrical cabinet door
  • Company Name
  • Company Address
  • Contact Name
  • Contact Email
  • Contact Number

Prizes

  • Winner – £1,500.00 (Oldest operational compressor)
  • Runners up x10 – £100.00

All prizes will be donated to each winners chosen Charity.

In addition, all valid entries will receive a complimentary gift.

Entry closes on Thursday 29th February 2023.

 

Say Hello to Yellow – Terms & Conditions

Eligibility

  • The competition is open to businesses in the United Kingdom.
  • Employees of United Air Power and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

Entry Requirements

  • Participants must send the following details within the entry period to yellow@unitedairpower.co.uk
    • Details:
      • Photo of Kaeser Compressor control panel
      • Photo of Kaeser Compressor data plate
      • Company Name
      • Company Address
      • Contact Name
      • Contact Email
      • Contact Number
  • Entries missing “Details” as mentioned above will not be accepted

Deadline

  • The competition entry period begins on 4th January 2024 and ends on 29th February 2024
  • Entries received after the deadline will not be accepted

Winner Selection

  • The winner will be selected based on the validation of the age of the compressor shown on the data plate
  • The decision of the judges is final

Prize

  • The winners will select a registered charity that United Air Power will donate the prizes to directly
  • The prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or other goods

Notification of Winners

  • The winner will be notified via email/phone within 30 days after the competition ends
  • If the winner does not respond within 14 days, another winner may be selected

Publicity

  • By participating, participants grant United Air Power the right to use their names and entries for promotional purposes without any further compensation in any form

Privacy

  • Personal information collected during the competition will be used for the purpose of administering the competition and may be shared with third parties involved in the competition

Disqualification

  • United Air Power reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates the terms and conditions or engages in fraudulent or unsportsmanlike conduct

Changes and Termination

  • United Air Power reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition at any time for any reason

Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom
