Case study
United Air Power were recently asked by a leading manufacturer of magnetic shielding solutions, if we could help save on costs and issues associated with Liquid Nitrogen, used for Laser Cutting. In the face of spiralling costs and the associated issues the company experienced with the rental; the inconsistent Liquid Nitrogen was hampering business growth.
The lack of space presented UAP with another challenge of where to install the equipment. Although UAP specialise in containerised systems, on this occasion the customer preferred the alternative option… to go up! To save space, the equipment was installed on a reinforced mezzanine floor and the High-Pressure Booster was installed on a second mezzanine floor, adjacent to the High-Pressure Storage Banks.
UAP’s bespoke Nitrogen Generation system, has a generation capacity of <35Nm3/hr of Nitrogen with a purity of 99.995%. Delivered a Bystronic Bysmart 6 kw Fibre Laser operates 24/7/365 and featuring a backup high-pressure storage system of <720 Nm3. This investment has allowed the company to increase production capacity without unnecessary infrastructure expenses.
