United Air Power Limited design and build containerised solutions in-house, to meet the compressed air and nitrogen needs of customers. These systems are a ‘plug and play’ design and are particularly advantageous where there is limited space available on an existing site or there is no compressor house. In addition to this, these systems are also transportable. They can be moved from one location to another which is important for applications such as large building contracts.
As they are bespoke systems, they can incorporate features such as high-level sound proofing, where for example the system may be near a residential area. Importantly, they are built to a high specification and include safety features such as emergency exits. They can also include heat recovery systems, to provide hot water for washrooms or process use (up to 70°c).
UK design and build
These containerised solutions are designed and built by highly skilled technical team, at the United Air Power Head Office in Deeside. These systems have their own distribution board, control systems and can include remote monitoring. Vents and ducting can be positioned as required by the customer. The containers can be colour coded to the customers’ requirements.
Monitoring systems
The custom design can include the control and remote monitoring of equipment status, temperature, flow, pressure due point (PDP) and energy consumption.
On site requirements
The customer simply provides the ground works, such as a hard-core base or concrete plinths and power supply.
Bespoke options
The systems are suitable for compressed air, nitrogen or process cooling.
Options can include:
- Modular designs and can be stacked with staircases
- Bespoke control, monitoring
